Operations management in the service and health care sectors and developing methodology to analyze congested systems. My research program focuses on developing mathematical models and algorithms to predict and optimize the performance of production and service systems, with particular emphasis on services and health care. My objectives are to develop tools that are useful to planners in making decisions about, for example, capacity planning or facility location.
