Dr. Nguyen completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 2006, graduated Phi Kappa Phi for her Master of Sciences and Certificate in Advanced Education in Prosthodontics at the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2009, and continued with a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Oral Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre in 2010.

During dental school, she completed a community-based research project on dental health in Vietnam and an externship in maxillofacial prosthetics at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Universitй de Montrйal (CHUM). At the University of Maryland and at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, she participated in research projects involving implants, removable prostheses, hygiene protocols and silicone biomaterials.

Dr. Nguyen is a Fellow in Prosthodontics of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics, and an elected member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. In addition to her assistant professor position at UBC, she works as a maxillofacial prosthodontist at the British Columbia Cancer Agency, is an active member of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics International Relations Committee and is a prosthodontics board examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada./

En 2009, elle a obtenu son certificat en prosthodontie et une maоtrise иs sciences avec mention Phi Kappa Phi de L'University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Elle est йgalement dйtentrice d'un Fellowship en prosthodontie maxillofaciale et oncologie dentaire de L'University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center complйtй en 2010.

Durant ses йtudes de DMD, elle a rйalisй un project de recherche en santй communautaire sur la Santй Bucco-dentaire au Vietnam et un externat en prosthodontie maxillofaciale au Centre Hospitalier de l'Universitй de Montrйal (CHUM). A l'University of Maryland et а l'University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, elle йtait impliquйe dans des projets touchant les implants, les prothиses amovibiles, les procйdures d'hygiиne buccales et les biomatйriaux.

Dre Nguyen est Fellow en prosthodontie, Fellow du Collиge Royal des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Canada, Diplomate du board Amйricain de Prosthodontie et membre par йlection de l'Acadйmie Amйricaine de Prosthodontie Fixe. En plus de sa position de professeure adjoint а l'Universitй de la Colombie Britannique, elle exerce а titre de prosthodontiste maxillofaciale а l'Agence du Cancer de la Colombie Britannique, est une membre active du Comitй en Relations Internationales de l'Acadйmie Amйricaine de Prosthиses Maxillofaciales et est examinatrice en prosthodontie du Collиge Royal des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Canada.
