Dr. Wishart is cross appointed with the Department of Computing Science and the NRC's National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT). Dr. Wishart's research interests are very broad, touching on areas relating to nanobiology, genonics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics and systems biology. His particular interests lie in developing novel methods or improved experimental techniques to facilitate the understanding of biological systems at the molecular (or nano) scale.
