Bio/Research

Dr. Odartey–Wellington's current research explores the representations of Saharawi identity in exile. She is the author of "Contemporary Spanish Fiction: Generation X" (2008) and the editor of the collection of essays "Trans-Afrohispanismos: Puentes culturales críticos entre África, Latinoamérica y España" (2018). She has also published several journal articles and book chapters on Afro-Hispanic literatures and cultures from Equatorial Guinea and Western Sahara.
