I am an Associate Professor of Engineering Management in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta and an Adjunct Scientist at TRLabs (pending) in Edmonton, Alberta. Research interests in the area of survivable telecommunications transport network design include include optimal provisioning and capacity placement, reliability and availability analysis, p-cycles, topology design, span addition/elimination, topology growth and evolution, modularity, network restoration and protection techniques, self-healing rings, and general network design.
