Bio/Research

Laurent Dobuzinskis, Associate Professor, has two different research and teaching interests: i) the history of political and economic thought, political economy (rational choice), and the philosophy of the social sciences; ii) public policy analysis and public administration. He is co-editor of Policy Analysis in Canada: The State of the Art (2007), Turbulence and New Directions in Global Political Economy (Macmillan, 2003), Global Instability (Kluwer, 2002)and Policy Studies in Canada: The State of the Art (Toronto: University of Toronto Press, 1996), and the author of The Self-Organizing Polity, (Westview Press, 1987) and of several papers and articles on policy-making, political theory and the history of political economy (the latest being: "Non-Welfarism Avant la Lettre: Alfred Fouillée Political Economy of Justice," European Journal of the History of Economic Thought 17 [2010]: 837-864).
