Our research focuses on fundamental human motivational systems (e.g., disease-avoidance, parental care) and their implications for various aspects of human social cognition and social interaction (e.g., prejudice, conformity). In doing so, we also explore broader questions about the influence of human evolutionary history on psychological processes, and about the impact of these psychological processes on human culture.
