Bio/Research

Pierre N. LeBlanc completed an M.F.A. in Fine Arts (photography) at Concordia University in Montréal, Québec in 1992; he presently teaches New Media at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in Corner Brook Newfoundland. He works under the name of The/La Commission GEDEON Commission. He has exhibited throughout Canada and in France and his work is represented at the Virtual Museum of Canada. Mr. LeBlanc produces work dealing with sequence and scale as philosophical enquiries under the name of the/la Commission GEDEON Commission. He is presently completing photography for a book of photographs with the Fish Plants of Newfoundland as a subject as part of a research initiative uniting 18 researchers from the Humanities, the Sciences and the Fine Arts
