Bio/Research

Robert H. Powers, Ph.D.,, a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Toxicologistsis an associate professor who teaches both graduate and undergraduate level forensics classes. Dr. Powers is a board-certified Forensic Toxicologist who has directed several toxicology and controlled substances laboratories, and is an active consultant in both criminal and civil cases. Dr. Powers can comment on current drugs of abuse, their effects and the testing thereof, DUI issues, including breath alcohol testing, and the role that that drugs and alcohol may have played in forensic cases, including Drug-Facilitated Sexual Assault, impairment and death cases.
