Ron Pelot has almost 20 years of experience in the area of risk assessment and analysis. In particular, he is conducting extensive studies in maritime transportation, incident analyses, and spill evaluation. Planning for Search & Rescue resources involve Geomatics, GIS, Spatial Statistics, Operations Research techniques, and Location Analysis. Other areas of application for risk analyses include aquaculture production, environmental and energy modelling. Dr. Pelot has co-authored a textbook in Engineering Economics.
