Simon Lapierre teaches courses on feminist practices, as well as on the théoretical and methodological foundations of social work intervention. His work has focused on both women's and children's experiences in the context of domestic violence. His research projects, conducted in both Canada and the United Kingdom, have proposed a feminist-critical perspective on policies and practices in the area of child and family social work, as well as on the social discourses that underpin these policies and practices.
