Professor Pitel joined the Faculty of Law in 2000 after practicing corporate and commercial litigation in Toronto and completing graduate studies at the University of Cambridge. His teaching and research is focused on conflict of laws, torts, civil procedure, unjust enrichment and legal ethics.
