Bio/Research

I am the senior member of the Yale gastrointestinal surgery practice, board certified in both general surgery and colon and rectal surgery. The practice sees a variety of patients—adolescent to geriatric, male and female, with a variety of problems that range from benign and relatively minor (such as hemorrhoids), to complex, life-long diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis. I also deal with pelvic floor disorders and I perform bariatric surgery to reduce obesity and colorectal cancer.
