Wanda is an invited member of the editorial board of the International Early Childhood Education Journal, and in 2009 she was elected to the Publications Committee of the Association for Childhood Education International, which serves as the editorial board for the journal Childhood Education as well as the Journal of Research in Childhood Education. Since 2006, Wanda has served on the UVic Human Research Ethics Board.
