Dr. Davidson’s current program of research is focused on determinants of human health and wellbeing. Specifically, Dr. Davidson is interested in the relationships among economic, social and environment sustainability, governance and healthy public policy. He is currently completing a policy-oriented book on determinants of human health (Social Determinants of Health: A Comparative Approach) for Oxford University Press.
Dr. Davidson has also conducted research into the relationships amongst globalization, neo-liberalism, market inspired health care reforms and privatization of health care services.
