Alan Shapiro has published scholarly articles in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Harvard Business Review, and Management Science. His best-selling textbook Multinational Financial Management (Wiley & Sons) is used in most leading MBA programs around the world, and his Modern Corporate Finance (Macmillan) was cited by the Journal of Finance as the "standard reference volume in corporate finance." Professor Shapiro has served as a director and consultant for numerous firms and banks. Before joining USC in 1978, he was on the faculty at the Wharton School.
