Allan MacNeill is Professor of Political Economy, with a joint appointment in the Departments of History, Politics, and International Relations and Business at Webster University. He teaches a variety of courses in political economy and economic history, including International Political Economy, The Political Economy of Sex, Drugs, and Garbage, Gender and Globalization, Economic Development, and The History of Economic Crises. MacNeill received both the Kemper and Emerson awards for excellence in teaching in 2012. Since arriving at Webster in 1994, MacNeill has taught in the Netherlands, Thailand, China, and Russia. He received his bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and has both an MS and PhD from the University of Massachusetts.
