Amir Esmailpour, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in electrical and computer engineering and computer science and previously was a postdoctoral fellow at the department of electrical and computer engineering (ECE) in the University of Toronto in Canada. At UNH, he is conducting research on the 4th Generation (4G) of wireless networks such as Long Term Evolution advanced (LTE-a) and Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX, IEEE 802.16-m). Dr. Esmailpour's research interests include various areas of networking and wireless communications, such as routing, mobility, radio resource management, and quality of service for LTE-a and WiMAX-2.
