Andrea Caluori is a Ph.D. student in Italian Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Connecticut. Her primary research interests include Medieval and Renaissance Italian literature particularly the relationship between representations of the comic and ethical inquiries.

Bio/Research

Andrea Caluori is a Ph.D. student in Italian Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Connecticut. Her primary research interests include Medieval and Renaissance Italian literature particularly the relationship between representations of the comic and ethical inquiries.

Andrea participated in the ITS Luca Pacioli SITE Program in Lombardy, Italy as an English Language Teaching Assistant and worked as Pedagogy Consultant at the Five College Center for the Study of World Languages in Amherst, Massachusetts. As an instructor, Andrea seeks to facilitate students’ intercultural perspectives and worldviews through language acquisition and cultural engagement.
