I came to Canada in 1993 from Russia, where I was born, and completed my undergrad and PhD degrees in physics at the University of Alberta. I then spent three years as a postdoc at Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA), University of Toronto. I worked in States as a postdoc at the The Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) and Institute for Theoretical Physics at Stanford University. Recently, I moved back to Canada to a faculty position at Simon Fraser University.
