Dr. Anita Gagnon is an Associate Professor at McGill University in the Ingram School of Nursing and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Nurse Scientist at the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is a professional nurse with a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) and a doctoral degree in Epidemiology.
Dr. Gagnon is currently: co-leader of Reproductive Outcomes And Migration (ROAM), an international research collaboration; and co-chair of the McGill Ingram School of Nursing's Global Health Committee.
Her research interests include the reproductive health of forced migrant women; maternal, child and perinatal health; health services research; public health; epidemiology; and evidence-based practice (both clinical and policy). She is Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on several grants related to the reproductive health of migrant women and has presented and published in several venues.
