Bio/Research

Anne Case's main research interests are in microeconomic foundations of development, health, and economics of the family. She is currently serving as an external member of the World Bank's research committee, as a member of the UNAIDS Economic Reference Group, and is an affiliate of the Southern African Labour and Development Research Unit at the University of Cape Town, and a visiting scientist at the Africa Centre for Health and Population Studies. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Albany, an M.P.A. degree from the Woodrow Wilson School, and an Ph. D. in economics from Princeton.
