Dr. Browne’s research focuses on health and healthcare inequities, with a particular focus on health inequities affecting indigenous peoples. She conducts research on access to healthcare, women’s health, cultural safety, and primary health care interventions to improve health outcomes for marginalized populations. Her work is aimed at promoting health equity through improvements in nursing practice, health care delivery, and health policy.
