Insdorf, a presence in the academic film industry, has appeared regularly on television as the host of the Cannes Film Festival coverage for BRAVO/IFC. She is the author of Francois Truffaut; Indelible Shadows: Film and the Holocaust; and Double Lives, Second Chances: The Cinema of Krzysztof Kieslowski and the executive producer of three award-winning short films. In addition, she hosts an annual film series at New York City’s prestigious 92nd Street Y.
