Dr. Rangel is a Professor of Economics and Neuroscience at the California Institute of Technology, director of the Neuroeconomics Laboratory, co-director of the Caltech Brain Imaging Center, and the principal investigator of the Conte Center Project 3, Processing Other People's Rewards. His research focus is the neural basis of economic and social decision making, using tools from cognitive neuroscience and experimental economics.
