Bio/Research

Her main research interests are in the area of contemporary Francophone literature, specifically spatial representation and environmental discourse in the twentieth-century novel. She has presented papers on the works of French novelists J.M.G. Le Clézio, Michel Tournier and Yves Berger.

Her main research interests are in the area of contemporary Francophone literature, specifically spatial representation and environmental discourse in the twentieth-century novel. She has presented papers on the works of French novelists J.M.G. Le Clézio, Michel Tournier and Yves Berger.

Other areas of research include second language teaching strategies, the Internet as a tool for second language learning, Quebec literature and film, children’s literature and translation strategies.
