Bio/Research

Professor Flyvbjerg is the most cited scholar in the world in megaproject management and planning. He is author and co-author of key references in this field, including the books 'Megaprojects and Risk: An Anatomy of Ambition and Decision-Making on Mega-Projects'. His books and articles have been translated into 18 languages.

In 2002, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark conferred upon him the Knighthood of the Order of the Dannebrog for his professional accomplishments. He has received numerous other honours and awards, including two Visiting Fulbright Scholarships.

He is an Honorary Fellow of the Association for Project Management, awarded for 'outstanding contributions to project management'.
