Bio/Research

Dr. Bettina B. Cenerelli is Associate Director at the Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs at Simon Fraser University. She is responsible for the French Cohort Program and also holds the position of Assistant Professor with the Department of French. Prior to joining SFU, she was the Program Director at the Montreal-based Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation; editor with the University of Montreal Press (QC) and Assistant Professor at Mount Allison University (NB). Having studied in Germany (FU Berlin; Siegen University) and in France (Université de Pau; École normale supérieure, Paris – pensionnaire étrangère; Sorbonne, Paris), she has a Ph.D. in French Literature (Siegen University) and a First State Examination (1. Staatsexamen) in French and History (FU Berlin).
