Bio/Research

Beverly Wall is a student of the theory and practice of rhetoric and is currently fascinated with the implications of multimedia literacy and the development of digital literature. She co-founded the Intercollegiate E-Democracy Project and has been a commentator on public dialogue and presidential debates for C-SPAN-TV's “Washington Journal,” Reuters News Service, BBC Radio London, National Public Radio’s “The Connection,” and a variety of newspapers around the world. She has taught writing, rhetoric, and literature at Trinity for over 20 years and has given numerous talks and workshops across the United States and at universities in England, Scotland, France, Norway, Finland, The Netherlands, China, and Japan. Wall is the author of essays on teaching writing with the new media arts and the intersection of rhetoric and democracy in the age of the Internet.
