Bio/Research

Brett Barwick became the newest member to join the Trinity Physics faculty in 2010. His research interests include experimental studies of fundamental quantum mechanics using ultrashort packets of electrons and probing interactions between photons and electrons on the nanoscale. Brett is teaching both upper level and introductory level courses in the Physics department.

Prof. Barwick earned his B.S. at Doane College located in Crete, Nebraska and received both his M.S. and Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After receiving his Ph.D. he worked at the California Institute of Technology in the Physical Biology Center for Ultrafast Science and Technology
