Carol Jones is an Associate Professor here at The University of Western Ontario in the Departments of Physics and Astronomy. She is also Assistant Dean for the Faculty of Science, Diversity and Outreach.
Her research is conducted in the Astronomy Group within the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
She primarily works on the energetics of circumstellar disks which surround hot stars, but as a natural extension of my expertise on hot star disks, She has conducted research on molecular clouds which are associated with the process of star formation.
