Bio/Research

I received my PhD in sociology at McMaster University in 2008. Prior to joining Laurier, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation in the Faculty of Medicine; University of Toronto (2007-2008).

1. The production of intelligence in policing.
2. The integration and utilization of crime and intelligence analysis.
3. Police women and police cultures.
4. Plural policing and the collaborative work of police and various social service providers.
5.Police responses to people in mental health crisis.
