Dr. Catherine Ellis is Associate Professor in the Department of History at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a DPhil in modern British history from Oxford University. Her research focuses on post-1945 Britain, including the impact of youth culture and young voters on British politics, and the history of the Labour Party. She also co-Chaired the university's Standing Strong Task Force on the legacy of Egerton Toronto Metropolitan University. Her teaching areas include modern Britain, the Third Reich, the history of children and youth, and European intellectual history.
