Catherine Graham has a B.A. in English, an M.A. in Comparative Literature and a Ph.D. in Theatre all from McGill University. She has a particular interest in performance issues, such as cross-cultural reception and how the medium in which it is portrayed can change a story. She is currently working on a book-length project entitled Performance as Public Thought: Towards a Theory of Activist Theatre, which compares activist theatre in Canada, the US, the UK, France and Belgium. Dr. Graham also studies new developments in Canadian theatre and is review editor of Canadian Theatre Review.
