Bio/Research

Mr Foster is a barrister at Outer Temple Chambers, London, specialising in medical law.

He is author, editor, or contributor to over 35 books, the most recent of which include Human Dignity in Bioethics and Law (2011) and Choosing Life, Choosing Death: The tyranny of autonomy in medical ethics and law (2009).

He is also Legal Adviser to the Committee for Ethics in Medicine, Royal College of Physicians and sits as a part time judge in the Crown Court and the County Court.
