Dr. Chintan Vaishnav is a post-doctoral associate at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), and Carnegie Mellon-Portugal Program. His research hopes to address two existing challenges: understanding the implications of rapidly changing technology for public policy, and utilizing technology to effectively solve the problems of the world's poor.
