Bio/Research

I am interested in how early experiences affect language and music development during infancy and early childhood. My research examines the interaction between music and language perception, the communicative role of playsongs and lullabies , and the role of music training on reading skills in early childhood. Currently, I am involved in a SSHRC multi-disciplinary research group studying singing, AIRS.
