Chris LaCava is trained in TCM, Japanese Acupuncture and Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM). He enjoys being able to help others in either their healing process or their educational journey. Chris has trained with world class teachers such as Kiiko Matsumoto, Mark Seem and Arya Nielsen to name a few. After graduating from Tri-State College of Acupuncture (TSCA), Chris completed a two and a half year apprenticeship with the head of TSCA’s Japanese Department at the time, Emilie Connor, P.T., L.Ac. as well as travelled to Japan to train with Master Acupuncturists such as Yoshihiro Kawai.
Chris is a lifelong practitioner of the martial arts and primarily trains in Hapkido, Kuhapdo and the Filipino art of Kali. He teaches seminars all over the USA at conferences, symposiums and camps, as well as individual schools on topics of Martial Arts and Eastern Medicine. Chris continues to travel to the birthplace of Hapkido; Daegu, South Korea to train with his teacher, Grand Master Lim, Hyun-Su, Head of the Korea Hapkido and Kuhapdo Association / Jung Ki Kwan.
