Dr. Reece has dedicated her academic career to creating experiences for students that focus on the practical skills necessary to function well at work and at home. Her background in Training and Development gives her a breadth of knowledge in résumé and cover letter writing, business and public relations plan development, business speaking, intergenerational communication, and intercultural communication.
An active member of the National Résumé Writers Association, Conne received her Certificate in Professional Résumé Writing in 2012. She has spoken to many professional and student groups, conducted workshops on job interview skills, and provided keynote graduation speeches.
Conne has also studied and taught public relations and intercultural communication classes internationally, as well as developed and delivered research. She and a Russian colleague published and presented a study comparing the conflict-handling behavior of Russian and American college students.
At LHU, Conne founded the LHU Public Relations Club where students learn how to use strategy and creativity to build corporate image, and to use the unique communication tools available to public relations practitioners.
