Craig is a member of the board of the 2learn.ca Education Society, whose mission is "to initiate, advocate and share with educators technology-enriched teaching, learning and leadership options of tomorrow, empowered by unique alliances with educational and community partners." He was a founding member of the Board of the Netera Alliance (now Cybera), whose core role is to design and implement the next-generation Internet in Alberta.
