Dr. Neville teaches a variety of undergraduate classes in medieval English, Scottish and European history. She has written extensively on relations between the English and the Scots in the northern border lands of later medieval England (fourteenth and fifteenth centuries), and on the laws that governed this turbulent part of the kingdom. Her current research involves the study of cultural and social relations between native Gaelic and Anglo-Norman lords in Scotland in the period 1150.
