I am currently working on the “Contemporary Return to Political Philosophy”. By a comparative analysis of different approaches to political philosophy, I try to answer the more general question : “What is Political Philosophy?” In recent years, I focused more and more my research on the French return to political philosophy — Claude Lefort, Pierre Manent, Marcel Gauchet, and others --, since I believe they offer a less narrow approach to political philosophy than the dominant theories of justice in the Anglo-American sphere. In the same spirit, I continue to work on Leo Strauss and on the Straussian school.
