Bio/Research
Dr. Benjamin came to UB in August 2006, having served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at University of Connecticut, and Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Politics at St. George's University. He has been serving as Chair of the MA in Global Development & Peace since Fall 2009, and previously served as Chair of the BA in International Political Economy & Diplomacy.
Dr. Benjamin has also served as Secretary to the Human Rights Section of International Studies Association, and is co-Section Program Chair for the 2015 ISA Convention. He is involved in both the Human Rights, and International Law sections of ISA. He is also a member of the American Political Science Association, the American Society of International Law, Northeast Political Science Association, ISA Northeast, and the New York State Political Science Association.
Dr. Benjamin is the Faculty Adviser to the UB Alpha Gamma Pi Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national Political Science Honor Society, and the Awards and Fellowships Officer to the UB Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.
