Bio/Research

David G. Blanchflower, nonresident senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, has been the Bruce V. Rauner Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College since 2001. He was member of the Monetary Policy Committee, Bank of England, from June 2006 to June 2009. He was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in June 2009 for services to the Monetary Policy Committee and economics. He was named the Business Person of the Year by the Daily Telegraph in 2008.
