Dr. Chess has a practice that is restricted to Adult Reconstructive Surgery. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an MD in 1980 and is currently an Associate Professor in Surgery and Adjunct Professor in Mechanical and Materials Engineering. Dr. Chess has been utilizing Computer Assisted Arthroplasty since 1999. He has studied Computer Assisted Arthroplasty extensively in the Biomechanics Laboratory at the Lawson Research Institute of which he is Co-Director. An example of computer-assisted surgery is depicted in the above operating room picture. His hobbies are all athletic and include hockey, lacrosse, cycling, and rugby.
