Dr. David Small is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster.
University and a generalist Ob/Gyn at St. JosephÃs Hospital, with training in colposcopy, microsurgery, minimally invasive laparoscopy surgery and advanced hysteroscopy. He earned his medical degree from McMaster University in 1981 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1986.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Small is committed to the education of health professionals at all levels. He is involved in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students and was awarded the Outstanding Preceptor Award for MD Students in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
