Professor Diane Pacom, a member of the University of Ottawa Department of Sociology, is a specialist in cultural sociology and contemporary sociology theories. Over the past 15 years, she has been a weekly columnist on Radio-Canada and a frequent commentator on social issues for television, radio and print. She has also participated as a keynote speaker in a multitude of conferences across Canada on issues related to today's youth.
