Dr. Soldatov's research interests focus on soft materials, from molecular crystals based on short peptides and metal complexes to synthetic polymers and food products. Most recent and current projects include synthesis or modification of these materials, studies on their molecular and solid state structure, thermal and chemical stability, and other properties. Soldatov is an expert in X-ray crystal structure analysis, thermoanalytical methods, and various spectroscopic techniques.
