Bio/Research

Donna Oropall came to the University in 2005 to immerse herself into the University of Bridgeport Community by continuing her education, obtaining a MS in Counseling, and immediately working as an Adjunct Professor and Campus Activities Coordinator, where she generated Leadership Development workshops and assisted the Director in running various Educational Programs. She has taught many classes including Career Counseling and First Year Seminar. She is currently a Faculty member in the Human Services Department.

Donna is certified in CBMT, Cognitive Behavioral Mindfulness Training for Stress Relief, who runs Groups in Lower Fairfield County. In addition, Donna is a certified Level Three Healing Touch volunteer at Greenwich Hospital where she is working on current research in Energy Healing techniques. She has a certificate in Mindfulness for Educators and Psychotherapists. Donna is also a certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and is a Substitute Instructor at Kaia Yoga in Greenwich, CT.
