Lloyd, who has testified before Congress on environmental enforcement, oversees Columbia’s Environmental Law Clinic, through which students work on real environmental cases. In addition, he is co-founder and co-director of the Eastern Environmental Law Center. Lloyd, a former staff attorney and executive director of the New Jersey Public Interest Research Group who is still active as general counsel, is affiliated with several other environmental legal organizations.
